Membership in the Qualified Gas Contractors, Inc. provides many benefits as either a General Member or an Associate Member.  With your membership, we will include your company in our “Locate a Contractor” section which assists customers in locating a qualified contractor in their area.

As a member you will also receive monthly newsletters providing updated information on the latest trends in our industry, QGC meeting highlights, and upcoming training classes.

QGC members automatically qualify to sign up for our classes in advanced professional training which teaches the very latest in natural gas equipment and code compliance.

As a member you can participate in our question and answer forum.  In this forum you can post questions to other members regarding code compliance issues, new types of gas equipment, or any other question relating to our profession.

Begining January 1, 2011, and in accordance with the QGC Bylaws, The Council of South Hampton Roads has determined that Section 3.7, D will be strictly enforced.

3.7 Maintaining Membership Status
D. General members must be represented at a minimum of 50% of yearly membership meetings. Representation constitutes at least one person from the member’s business.  Non-compliance to Section 3.7, D will result in the revocation of the yearly pre-payment Membership Dues Discount.
